2. Why S.M.A.R.T. attributes for my hard disk drive unavailable?
There are two possible reasons:
- The HDD does not support S.M.A.R.T. diagnostics.
- S.M.A.R.T. is turned off in BIOS and operating system is Windows XP, 2003 or 2000.
